Recently there has been a rise in negative blogs popping up all over the internet with photos of modified people, the person being degraded so badly I sit here and get tears in my eyes.

No matter who the person is, they are being criticized and mocked publicly in ways that are very demeaning and hurtful, trust me, I have had my share of cyber attacks by people, both without and within the mod community.

So, what is our recourse?

We do nothing. We say nothing.

If we do not engage the perpetrators directly, but instead see these situations as opportunities for us to further refine our own character, we win, and we set the example to the world.

The last thing we need to do is 1. report the posts to fab because quite frankly they don’t care, and 2. respond to them which would only entangle is in their negativity.

What these people do is ugly, mean hearted and nasty.

What we do is not be like them by taking the bait.

OK, so those posts hurt our feelings, especially the person to whom the post is targeted, so what, we get over it, shake it off and do not fall into that victim mode they want to put us in.

We modified our body, we take ownership of what we have done do our world, not to just our immediate world, but also the world around us.

We are, strong, we are proud, we are intelligent and we are not victims, we are beautiful.

No one can or should take that away from us.

Modify - The Movie

Hello folks. My last post was announcing our new YouTube channel.



Now we start having fun and getting our message out in a much bigger way, coupled with our new fb public page and web site, live where people will be able to actually see and hear and listen to us, see our face, feel us and I feel it will help people connect with us on a different and much needed level beyond what we have been comfortably accustomed to on fb alone.



Now, I need your help.



I will be making a daily post to the public page, web site, google plus and any other social media where we have a presence.

This daily post will be for the expressed purpose of promoting Modify II.



In the past I have been choosing clips, topics, or personalities from the original Modify to showcase in a blog that will be for the sole purpose of raising body modification awareness, but will go hand in hand with our work as we continue to promote Modify II through the original film.



What I need from you is to tell me what topic, person or scene, clip, etc. in the movie Modify you want me to talk about in this daily blog.



Keeping in mind that the purpose for this particular project is beyond anything else to raise body modification awareness, AND keeping in mind that we have the eyes of the world upon us so our image and what we do and say will also be taken into consideration when people view our channel videos and read our blogs.



We have their attention so now let's give them the show we promised and we know we can deliver.



Please make your recommendations here and explain:

Why you feel this certain segment of the original Modify is important for us to focus on as we look for ways to help educate the public about who we are as a people.



P.S. this video is one our own YouTube channel so please comment on the channel and engage our audience to try to help educate them, and be patient or as patient as you can with the hatemongering trolls.

The MOD Squad - Modify II Street Team (Coming Together)

Greetings to all. As you all know by now Modify II is going to become a reality, and the producers need our help to promote and raise awareness of the upcoming sequel.

The widely acclaimed 2005 body modification documentary, Modify, showcased various modified people and their various forms of body modifications who spoke about their feelings and views on various topics including, personal aesthetic value, spirituality, mutilation, permanent and temporary makeup, hair coloring, body building, all forms of body modification.

Modify The Movie brought many aspects of society's mainstream acceptable body mods into the fold with mainstream traditional body modifications from tattoos and piercings to extreme mods such as implantation, breast augmentation, gender reassignment, scarifications, 3D implants, and the whole gamut of extreme body modifications.

What Modify did was open the eyes of people both within and without the modification community and touched the lives of many people from around the world. People were inspired, some were educated and enlightened, and Modify also brought into the light the necessary shock value that changed people's perspective about body modification and about modified people in general, some for the better and some not.

What is worthy of notice is that the first film set the stage for the continuation of the educational values which many derived from watching the movie, and now Modify II is poised to take things to a whole new level and is sure to, as Greg Jacobson said, "Blow the first Modify out of the water".

Modify II has, in it's infancy stages, already excited many people the world over bringing people together in great numbers giving birth to The MOD Squad - Modify II Street Team, who are helping spread the word of the upcoming film, from many countries, including Denmark, the UK, Australia, Mexico, Italy, United States, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Pakistan, Argentina, Finland, with more representatives/warriors from other countries joining daily.

We are discussing and setting the foundation for taking Modify II out into the world and soon you will hear people speaking about Modify II at expos and other events in your country.

Modify II will help change the world for the better and you too can help so be the change you want to see by giving us a shout out, a thumbs up, and/or by proactively sharing our public page posts with your friends on your pages and in your groups to help this film come to fruition.

Modify II is about you, and it is for you, the modified community, let's all come together and help make a difference in the world around us today while having a positive effect on the future world for our children and our children's children.
